Zakat Office in Al-Durayhimi district in Hodeida Province launched on Thursday the distribution of zakat in kind of grains to the poor and deserving beneficiaries, coinciding with the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.At the inauguration, the director of the Zakat Office explained that the distribution of zakat in kind to the poor of Al-Durayhimi district culminates the role of the Zakat Commission in supporting charity initiatives, which it carries out annually in conjunction with the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday to embody the true meanings of solidarity urged by the Prophet, calling on taxpayers to pay their zakat to the Zakat branch in the directorate as the concerned party to deliver it to its beneficiaries.Source: Yemen News Agency
