Dbaiba Reviews Progress on Administrative Centers Development Projects

Tripoli: Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, followed up on the projects of the Administrative Centers Development Authority and the workflow of the agency during a meeting held on Wednesday, as part of the government's monitoring of the performance of executive agencies.

According to Libyan News Agency, Dbaiba stressed during the meeting the importance of selecting companies for project implementation that are capable of executing tasks and providing after-sales service, particularly for health services projects. He also emphasized the need to provide opportunities for national companies, while benefiting from the expertise of reputable companies, and to prevent monopolization by specific firms.

Dbaiba called on the agency's employees to maintain their efforts across the country, including the east, west, and south, and to overcome any challenges encountered. He urged them to initiate public tenders, monitor evaluation processes by specialized committees and oversight bodies, and concentrate on service projects in the health and education sectors, distributing them geographically. He highlighted the necessity of improving management processes to ensure transparency, clearly explaining all procedures, and preventing doubts regarding the implementation of development and service projects. He noted the complexity of the construction profession, emphasizing it cannot be undertaken by just anyone.

Dbaiba acknowledged the success of the Authority in developing skilled cadres with accumulated experience, who have become references in their fields. The meeting featured a visual presentation detailing the locations of contracted projects, projects currently being implemented and scheduled for completion in 2025, those extending into the next year, and new projects targeted for future implementation.
