Dbaiba Engages with Greek Foreign Minister on Economic Cooperation


Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Giorgos Gerapetrissis, at the Cabinet Office on Tuesday. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic and service sectors.



According to Libyan News Agency, discussions were also held regarding the opening of Greek airspace to Libyan air traffic and the resumption of direct flights between the two nations. This move is expected to enhance connectivity and foster closer ties.



Both parties emphasized the need for ongoing direct dialogue to respect national sovereignty and maintain good neighborly relations. They also highlighted the importance of promoting common interests for the benefit of the Libyan and Greek peoples.
