The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a warning regarding the persistence of thunderstorms in several regions of Saudi Arabia, expected to continue from Friday until next Tuesday.Makkah region is anticipated to experience moderate to heavy rainfall, potentially leading to flash floods, hail, and strong downdrafts.Meanwhile, Riyadh region is forecast to receive light to moderate rain and strong downdrafts.The regions of Madinah, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and Najran are expected to be affected by moderate to heavy rain, while Hail, Qassim, and the Eastern region may experience lighter rainfall.The directorate urges all citizens and residents to exercise caution, avoid areas prone to flooding or flash floods, and adhere to the safety guidelines and instructions disseminated through various media channels.Source: Saudi Press Agency
