Misrata: Chairman of the Misrata Free Zone Authority, Mohsen Al-Saqoutri, recently met with the Indian Ambassador to Libya to discuss potential avenues for economic and investment cooperation. The conversation focused on inviting Indian companies and investors to explore opportunities in the Libyan market through the Misrata Free Zone.

According to Libyan News Agency, during the visit, the Indian Ambassador received an overview of the zone’s operational capabilities. Emphasis was placed on the favorable investment environment, robust infrastructure, and strategic location that the Misrata Free Zone offers. These factors are seen as pivotal in supporting economic, commercial, and logistical activities, and in enhancing prospects for expansion into both regional and international markets.
