Benghazi: The Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, Belkacem Khalifa Haftar, held discussions with Ulrika Richardson, the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and UN Resident Coordinator in Libya, regarding the acceleration of reconstruction projects in the country. The focus of the meeting was on transitioning from the coordination phase to direct implementation with the help of international partners.According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place on Tuesday in Benghazi, where Haftar emphasized the need for rapid progress and tangible outcomes in Libya's reconstruction efforts. He highlighted the importance of unifying efforts and utilizing international expertise to implement projects that are both efficient and sustainable.Haftar also pointed out that the vision for Libya's reconstruction extends beyond infrastructure development. It encompasses human development and the strengthening of stability within the country, aiming for a comprehensive approach to rebuilding.
