It involves selecting the right wood, preserving it for a year, and carefully shaping and decorating the platter. Sahfa's unique designs and decorative elements make it a centerpiece on Aseer tables.Not only is the sahfa a cultural icon, it is also a practical and functional piece. Its antibacterial properties and its insulating properties make it safe for serving food.The sahfa industry contributes to t he local economy by providing jobs and supporting handicraft production.
