Tripoli: The Arabian Gulf Oil Company announced that a fire in one of the pipelines belonging to Akakus Oil Operations in the Hamada region has been successfully contained.According to Libyan News Agency, the company's safety teams, along with specialized teams from other oil sector companies, responded to the blaze and effectively brought it under control. The concerted efforts from all involved were pivotal in managing the incident.The company's media office reported that the operation to control the fire spanned approximately 24 hours, involving continuous work by technical teams from the oil companies. The pipeline is now completely under control, with no further threat posed by the fire.The Arabian Gulf Oil Company praised the safety teams from the various oil companies for their contributions to containing the fire, highlighting their efficiency, professionalism, and discipline throughout the operation.
