Tripoli: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense in the Government of National Unity, Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, and the Director of the Military Intelligence Department, Major General Mahmoud Hamza, engaged in discussions on Monday with the Deputy Commander of the US Africa Command (AFRICOM), Lieutenant General John Brennan, and the Charg© d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt, to explore avenues for enhancing security and military cooperation between Libya and the United States.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting involved an exchange of information focused on areas such as counterterrorism, illegal immigration, and border security. These discussions aim to contribute to efforts towards achieving security and stability in Libya.
