Tripoli: The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Unity, Major General Emad Mustafa Al-Tarabulsi, welcomed the Italian Minister of Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, in Tripoli on Monday. The visit was part of an official initiative to enhance bilateral cooperation between Libya and Italy.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Italian minister's visit included an official welcoming ceremony attended by several leaders and officials from the Libyan Ministry of Interior. This engagement is designed to foster joint efforts in areas such as security enhancement, border security, and the fight against irregular migration. The meeting also aimed to facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two countries.
