Al-qardabiya: Engineer Shuaib Bin Sharada, Head of the Management Committee of the First Phase Water Investment Authority of the Great Man-Made River Project in the Central Region, revealed that the Al-Qardabiya Dairy Factory, affiliated with the Authority, produces more than 2,000 liters of natural cow's milk daily.

According to Libyan News Agency, Engineer Shuaib Bin Sharada stated that the factory relies heavily on dairy cows, numbering more than 200 out of a total of 500 cows producing milk daily. Bin Sharada added that the milk is distributed and sold daily by a committee through agents contracted with the relevant department.

The milk is then distributed to shops and sold to consumers for three dinars per liter. Other types of milk, including pasteurized milk, are sold in the markets for six dinars per liter.
