Tripoli: The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, welcomed a delegation from the city of Kikla at the Council’s headquarters on Thursday. The delegation comprised Member of Parliament Dr. Akram Issa, Member of the High Council of State Dr. Abdulaziz Hariba, and Mayor of Kikla Eng. Mohammed Al-Sanousi, alongside several sheikhs and dignitaries from the city.
According to Libyan News Agency, the delegation expressed its support for Al-Menfi’s initiatives aimed at promoting national reconciliation and transitional justice. They also endorsed his efforts to unify national ranks and enhance stability, which are seen as critical steps towards the organization of elections.
The Presidential Council’s media office revealed that discussions during the meeting centered on the overall situation in Kikla and potential avenues for support. At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation presented Al-Menfi with a commemorative plaque, acknowledging his leadership and contributions during this crucial period in the nation’s history.
