Al-Baour Commends Outgoing Bangladeshi Ambassador’s Contributions


Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Libya, Abu Al-Hasanat Muhammad Khair Al-Bashar, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure in Libya.



According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the trajectory of bilateral relations between Libya and Bangladesh, exploring the development and cooperation witnessed in various areas of mutual interest. Discussions also included strategies to support and enhance these relations, aiming to serve the shared interests of both nations.



Al-Baour acknowledged the constructive role played by the Bangladeshi Ambassador during his service, recognizing his efforts in fostering friendship and cooperation between the two countries. He extended his best wishes for the ambassador’s success in future diplomatic endeavors.



The Bangladeshi Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Acting Minister and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the support and cooperation extended to him, which he noted was instrumental in the successful fulfillment of his mission. He reiterated the strong bilateral relations and emphasized Bangladesh’s commitment to further developing these ties.



In a gesture of appreciation, Al-Baour presented a commemorative plaque to the Bangladeshi Ambassador on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, symbolizing the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between Libya and Bangladesh.
