Al-Baour and New Vietnamese Ambassador Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties


Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, met today at the Ministry’s headquarters with Nguyen Nam Dung, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Libya. Al-Baour congratulated Ambassador Nguyen on his new role, expressing hopes for success in his duties and emphasizing the importance of the longstanding and distinguished relationship between Libya and Vietnam.



According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Baour highlighted Libya’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation across various fields to benefit both nations. Ambassador Nguyen expressed gratitude for the support he has received and reaffirmed Vietnam’s dedication to fostering cooperative relations with Libya. He emphasized the importance of developing a strong bilateral partnership.



Both officials agreed on the necessity of ongoing meetings and joint coordination to reinforce bilateral relations in all sectors. They underscored their commitment to furthering diplomatic ties, aiming to enhance friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
