Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea to Libya, Massa Kaba, to discuss bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them in various fields. During the meeting, held at the Ministry headquarters in Tripoli, Al-Baour congratulated Kaba on assuming her post as ambassador to Libya, wishing her success in her diplomatic duties.
According to Libyan News Agency, the two sides reviewed prospects for joint cooperation and coordination regarding support for Libya within the African Union. The meeting focused on enhancing Libya’s role and influence within the organization, aiming for a more strategic alliance between Libya and Guinea in the context of African unity and development.
For her part, Ambassador Kaba expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome, affirming her country’s readiness to expand bilateral cooperation in all areas. She highlighted Guinea’s commitment to working closely with Libya to boost mutual interests and address regional challenges through collaborative efforts.
