Al-Abed and British Ambassador Discuss Joint Efforts in Labor and Rehabilitation Sectors


Tripoli: The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, held a meeting today with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds. The discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of labor, training, and rehabilitation, as well as exploring prospects for partnership between Libya and the United Kingdom in human resource development.



According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting addressed key areas such as support for vocational training and rehabilitation programs, the development of labor market mechanisms, and the exchange of expertise in employment and capacity building. These initiatives aim to raise the efficiency of national personnel and improve job opportunities for young people.



The British Ambassador, Martin Reynolds, reaffirmed the United Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation’s efforts in implementing its development programs. He emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation to serve the mutual interests of both Libya and the UK.
